Artists

This constitutes the current list of musical groups actively recording music for your listening pleasure. The list will grow and shrink as time goes on, but we'll be here to spread musical ideas as best we can.

Exit Abacus

Exit Abacus was formed in early 2008 by Craig Ceremuga and Derek Mansen. The two share a common musical background as well as a common goal of exploring sonic soundscapes which sound atypical to the human ear. Their music spans a variety of genres, but always comes back to its electronic roots to drive the message home.

Obsidian Complex

Obsidian complex was born out of a love for the art of the sample. The Rourke brothers, Shaun and Edward have been combining their musical talents for several years in numerous projects. Now, they're compiling the rarest of samples and digging in the deepest of record crates for you the listener. We're proud to bring their unique, creative sound to the forefront of our offerings.

The True Wheel

The True Wheel is half of Exit Abacus. When you listen to The True Wheel, the name of which was inspired by the Brian Eno song of the same name, you will hear an odd mix of synthesizers, processed guitar, and whatever else he can find. Traditional song structures are largely ignored, as that takes far more time and dedication that he has the patience for. Instead, he endlessly tries to coax new, interesting sounds out of the overwhelming collection of electronics he has at his disposal. Inspirations range from krautrock, to jazz, to ambient.

Thought Frequency

Drawing inspiration from Brian Eno, Jonn Serrie, Steve Roach and a great deal of other artists from the ambient genre, Thought Frequency was founded in 2006 as a musical project to convey thoughts to those on a like-minded frequency, get it?
